There’s an undeniable chemistry, a connection and spontaneity between Phyl Contestable and Alan Jones. You can see it, feel it, hear it, the minute you sit down.

They have a magical way of transforming any space into your living room.
Experience subtle, nuanced exchanges that evoke tears of laughter
and sentiment.

                                 You are not only IN the audience..you are PART OF the show.

"No need to go Manhatten to get world class cabaret. Phyl Contestable & Alan Jones are pure magic.
They performed a thank you concert at Mercy for The Walgreens and the audience was dazzled"

                                                                                                 SUZANNE JOHNSTON

(President. Mercy High School)

Together since 1980, they have enjoyed many successes: LPGA, RYDER CUP, WXXI, The Changing Scene revolving restaurant (4 years), Blackfriers Theatre summer session, 1000 Island Resort, Atlantic City, Toronto, Catskills, Montana, Featured Guest Artists of Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (3 occasions).

Known Nationally as UPSTATE NEW YORK’S PREMIER CABARET DUO
These two artists have perfected the “art” of Cabaret Entertaining.
Both residents of Upstate New York and award winning music educators.

Alan – RPO award: Choral Director of the Year; Ch 8 Golden Apple Award;

NYSMMA AllState Vocal Adjudicator.

Phyl – RPO award; Distinguished Classroom Music Specialist;

NYS LOTTO FOX TV Teacher of the Month; Italian American Community Award “Woman of the Year in the Arts”; REVEREND MOTHER (3 years) Off Broadway Equity Production of NUNSENSE.

Reverend Mother has developed into an “alter ego” who now travels with Phyl and has been known to “crash the party” at many Cabaret events.

Alan Jones is a chameleon with a liquid gold voice. The straight man to Contestable’s wacky onstage persona (a mix of Rosemary Clooney, Carol Burnett and Ms Piggy!)

THEY are a MUST SEE! A CABARET EXPERIENCE!

"For 30 years, we have loved attending any cabaret show featuring Phyl and Alan.

They have a unique style that entertains and their personal touches make you feel like you've known them forever. Their cabaret shows bridge the gap between performer and audience.

We have found that you leave the shows smiling, humming their tunes and planning to return."

                                                     BONNIE & DAVE SEABURN

"The Valentine's themed Cabaret Show was a terrific performance, and we are thrilled with the memories, the smiling faces, the warmth and appreciation for great talent"
